Aspirations for painting
When I was looking for a way to realize the image I envisioned in a closer way,
I came up with the idea of intuitively trying out the expression in ink.
Since then, for about 10 years,
I have been doing creative research every day to explore my own ink expression.
At first, while making use of the techniques of Japanese painting that I had learned so far,
I made various trials, and now the paper is made of bamboo fibre called old ash paper,
and the ink is oil smoke ink. I like to use it.

Most of my works are based on the mountain scenery of my hometown
and the plants that are close to me,
but I continuously explore the texture and colour of ink painting.
By going on, I feel that I have gradually come closer to the image I envision.
